Most of the elder people and they could be our parents have those old televisions like the 29" which looks like just only a spot on the wall. Now there are the big tvs which are associated with class and advanced in technology.
I went to the house of one of working mate and found that she still uses the remnant television sets. We watched a movie which he enjoyed but for me it was the opposite, I was used to my big screen which I didn't have to think that I was seeing people who were kneeling or just the wheels of a vehicle. I talked to her about it and she said that she would use all her charms on her husband to convince him to acquire the big TV.
This kind of a television is really nice but many people are getting blown off by their prices and are driven by the mentality that they make very little difference to their delight except increasing the quality of the image and the absolute size.
One day a cousin of mine came to my place, he was from the interior suburbs, back then if you had the late model of a black and white 32" TV you were the talk of the small village. We entered my living room and I saw his jaw drop, he was so amazed by the view of the big TV that I had to wait a few minutes for him to finish admiring it. I switched it on and by coincidence there happened to be a plane fly in the TV towards the screen, I laughed until my ribs ached because he had bent down to let the plane pass when in the real sense it went over on the screen!
